UPDATE, 5/26/2020: Broomfield Offers Re-opening Tool Kit for Restaurants
Following Governor Polis’ announcement on Monday that Restaurants can begin offering on-premise dining again this week, the City and County of Broomfield has created a Restaurant Toolkit. This kit will walk restaurateurs through the new guidance, how to expand outside seating and liquor licenses, and additional tools and resources.
And, on the topic of outdoor seating, Broomfield develop an online submission form for those looking to expand their outdoor options. This provides both an easy submission process for applicants and the ability for our staff to review and approve the application quickly. It is estimated that each application will take on average 30 minutes of total staff time to process and submit to the State.
