The Broomfield Area Chamber’s Advocacy Committee looks at key bills, ordinances, and policy proposals at the state, and local levels to determine what impacts they may have on the business community. They evaluate the potential effects of the legislation and makes recommendations on taking positions on policy. This group also evaluates strategic policy partnerships the chamber has such as the Northwest Chamber Alliance, Smart Commute, and Commuting Solutions to make sure the investment in time and money is of value to the membership.

The Broomfield Area Chamber engages with the City and County of Broomfield staff and elected leaders on an ongoing basis, participating in collaborative events and projects, and keeping abreast of policies and initiatives. The Chamber is also a member of the Northwest Chamber Alliance, whose mission is to apply the collaborative impact of our region’s chambers of commerce, including the thousands of businesses and employees they represent, to advance policy goals that enhance economic vitality across the northwest region.
The Chamber is also in regular contact with our State Legislators, the Governor’s Office and our US Congressional members to ensure that the interests of our business community are well represented in public policy decisions.
